Clark Golestani brings over three decades of leadership and operational expertise in technology and innovation to his return as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Golestani is currently Managing Director at C Sensei Group LLC and has served as President and Global CIO at Merck, where he led major technology and digital initiatives. He has also held principal roles at Oracle and served on a range of corporate boards across the technology sector. Golestani holds a degree in Management Science from MIT Sloan School of Management.

William Klitgaard brings over four decades of financial and operational expertise to the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Klitgaard has served in senior executive and board roles across leading technology and healthcare organizations. He is currently a Board Member at XIFIN, Inc., and has previously held board positions at Syneos Health, Avista Public Acquisition Corp II, Inform Diagnostics, Certara, Bioclinica, and Liaison Technologies. He was President of Enlighten Health at LabCorp and spent over 18 years at Covance in several executive roles, including SVP CIO, SVP CFO, and Corporate VP Treasurer. He holds an MS in Management Studies from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Sumit Kapur is a seasoned technology and finance executive with a track record of scaling complex businesses across startups, growth-stage companies, and mature enterprises. Before joining Zapata, Mr. Kapur held C-Suite roles and senior leadership roles, including at 3Degrees, Morgan Stanley, and Tulip AI. He has a track record of driving revenue growth from $5M to $1B+, executing financing transactions in excess of $1B, and guiding technology-led businesses through critical phases of expansion. Mr. Kapur’s professional experience spans fintech, AI, enterprise software, and investment banking. He has also served in advisory and governance roles, collaborating with boards, investors, and founders to align on long-term strategies and deliver results. Mr. Kapur has a mathematics degree from Harvard College and MBA from Harvard Business School.
